It is natural to have Leakage problems. You will not realize the importance of plumbing before you start having any issues and some of the issues require immediate action otherwise they will create a huge problem for you. If there is continuous water leakage in your home then firstly you need to turn off the water supply.

Never let the plumbing service waste your time, money, and patience if you can fix these issues by yourself but if you are unable to apply any method then you must take local plumbers help because water leakage can waste nearly 30 gallons of water a day.

The Most Common Reasons for Toilet Leakage and Their Solution are:

  • Leakage in rubber seal:

Toilet leakages are the worst leakage in the house. There is a rubber seal on the base of the toilet so if you found the leakage after flushing then there may be an issue with the rubber seal.

So it’s recommended that you stop using your toilet immediately and take some major action against it. Replace the rubber seal as soon as possible.

  • Leakage in water supply:

Another reason for leakage is a crack in the water supply. With a high flow of water, there may be a crack in the water supply line. This may create a big problem for you and can be the reason for the flood in your toilet.

If you want to repair the water supply by yourself then firstly turn off the water to your toilet and remove the cracked supply line. Carefully coat the new line with tape and join it to the toilet. Avoid too much tightening during the installation of a new line as this can also damage the new line. If this method didn’t work then hire plumbing services.

  • Tubs and toilets:

There is a special sealing in the tubs and showers. These are specially designed to control the water flow but sometimes the seal is faulty and water flow is heavy so this may create a major problem and if you don’t notice the faulty seal for a long time then this may create a problem for you because water keeps soaking into the subflooring.

To overcome this issue we need to checkout sealing on a daily basis. If you find any stains on the ceiling then it’s important to take any action quickly or take help from professional plumbing services.

  • Showerhead Leaks:

Showerhead leakage is the most common leakage and wastes more than 400 gallons of water per year. The reason for leakage is that there is a loose connection between the showerhead and pipe stem. So your connection must be tight and secure.

To fix this issue at the hardware store a Teflon tape is available which helps in preventing the leakage. Fix leaky overheads as soon as possible and if the problem is increasing day by day then immediately contact an experienced licensed plumber.
